Rev. Nathan Baker-Trinity

Chaplain

The Phyllis and Richard Duesenberg Endowed Chaplain Chair

The Rev. Nathan Baker-Trinity (LSM 1992-95, trombone, voice) looks forward to returning as Chaplain to the LSM Community. He first attended LSM as a fifteen-year-old at the urging of his middle school band director, Mike Jones. Since 2006, Nathan has served congregations in northwestern Minnesota, central Pennsylvania, and the Twin Cities area.

Nathan has made several devotional and preaching contributions to the larger church, including for Sundays and Seasons and Christ In Our Home. He also sings as a tenor in the National Lutheran Choir. He looks forward to giving back to this remarkable music and faith formation program that has given so much to him.

Nathan lives with his wife, Jennifer (LSM 1992-94, organ, voice) and their three children, Thomas (LSM 2021-23, trumpet, voice), Luke (LSM 2023, violin, voice) and Miriam (violin, voice).
