Hannah Johnsrud

Sacristan

Sponsored by Craig Mueller and Ernest Vasseur

Hannah Johnsrud (LSM ’10-’13, ‘23) is delighted to be returning to LSM once again as Sacristan this summer! After spending four high school summers making music (oboe, piano, voice) and some of the best friends of her life at LSM, Hannah moved from her hometown of Milton, WA to Nashville, TN to attend Vanderbilt University. There she studied Middle Eastern Studies while actively participating in music both academically and in church. Hannah then spent a year living in Jerusalem and the West Bank as a part of the ELCA’s Young Adults in Global Mission program, living and serving alongside the Palestinian Christian community. As of summer 2024, Hannah will have completed her academic work for her Master of Divinity at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and will soon be beginning her pastoral internship. Hannah lives with her cat, Philippians (Pippa), and enjoys curling up with a cup of coffee and a good book, playing card and board games, cooking tasty food for friends, and, of course, music!
