Financial Aid & Scholarships
  1. Merit-based scholarships are awarded on applicant's musical and technical skill (as demonstrated by the audition recording), musical recommendation, and the enrollment needs of the Academy.

  11. Transportation Grants may be awarded to those students who must travel a great distance to the Academy.

  14. Match Grants: Funds raised from a church, business, or community organization are eligible to be matched on a 3:1 basis by LSM (for every $3 you raise, LSM will give you $1). LSM will provide matching funds up to $500.

  18. *Be sure to enter your best estimate if you plan to fundraise. This number is taken into account when the admissions team puts together your financial aid award. If you do not enter an amount, we will not provide matching funds. LSM will only match the funds denoted on this application. Local funds must be received no later than May 15, 2013.
Elective Pre-Registration
  1. This is a pre-registration only. Your actual registration will be finalized only after you register on the first day of LSM and have completed your audition with your studio teacher(s). Students will have the opportunity to drop or add electives during the first four days of the Academy.
